Coastal Travel

Coastal Vacations is a home-based business opportunity in the travel club industry. The company has been around for 13 years. It would be important to note what Coastal Vacations is not.
It is NOT a network marketing company. It is NOT a multi level marketing company. It is NOT any type of pyramid scheme whatsoever.
Finally, it also is NOT time-share. What is this company? It is a travel club membership, and a home-based travel business. When you join, you get the membership, and the ability to make money getting Coastal Vacations new clients.
Coastal Vacations does, however, use a two up compensation plan. This means that as a new marketer, you must give up your first two sales to your sponsor. So, you pay the $1,295 to become a member, and give up your first $2,000 in sales.
From your third sale on, you get the $1,000 commission checks. Then you also benefit from getting paid when the new person makes their first two sales. After that, this person is qualified to make their own commissions, and you cannot benefit from their future sales.
If you want to make more money, you can sell bigger vacation packages, up to $11,000. When you join Coastal Vacations, you are buying a vacation package level, in addition to the business opportunity.
The packages are not all that they are cracked up to be. Here, the company isn’t up to par. It can be very difficult to use the membership for your vacation.
You will run into various obstacles. Even though there are many nice destinations to choose from, actually getting the vacation set up, at desirable places and dates, is seemingly impossible.
There are other question marks about this company. There is no such thing as a 24/7 crew of agents to help you with your vacation plans. On the business side, there are a lot of members not accurately using the official compensation plan.
This can, and has, lead to some unethical practices within the program. This means depending on who you join with, things can be different. This is not proper.
The concept of Coastal Vacations is a good one. The problems start to arise with the application of the plan. The business end needs to be properly monitored, and the vacations need to be easier to go on.
